Fundraising Once Again

Good evening, everyone. Hope you have been doing well today. I have been doing okay myself.

I am sorry that I haven't blogged in the last month. It has been crazy here with me and my family. Getting my youngest daughter to college last Friday was very trying. She has been looking forward to getting back to college to be with her friends. But all in all, she has been a blessing these last three months. I always love to spend time with my daughters and my family.

This week, though, I had an aunt (my mother's sister) to die. She had alzheimer's and only weighed about 100 pounds. I am so glad that she is not suffering any more. But, I was close to her and will truly miss her. And God bless my mother for being able to deal with having to call all of the brothers and sisters in.

Well, with all of this going on, we are also getting ready for another fundraiser (Bake Sale and Yard Sale) on Saturday. It will start at 8:00 am and end at 2:00 pm. The location is at Myrtle United Methodist Church on Bessemer City Road in Gastonia, NC 28054. There are a lot of items up for sale: two leaf blowers, autographed race car pictures, race car hats, dishes, tvs, clothes, games, shoes, stilettos, typewriters, deli meat slicer, and more. This fundraiser is for a good cause - me. I have to help raise money to pay for my kidney transplant. Thank you to my family for supporting me in all of my fundraisers thus far.

Ciao for now.
