My Weekend

Good evening, everyone. I hope you have had a great weekend. It has been a couple of weeks since I last blogged.

I have had a really good weekend myself.  I had my Saturday morning dialysis treatment yesterday early. I had church today and lunch with a great friend afterwards. Ashleigh and I then headed to the grocery store. Luckily, we didn't have a lot to get.

Usually, we like to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Today, we had more to do to get ready for my fundraiser this coming Saturday. My fundraiser consists of a spaghetti dinner, a book sale, and a raffle. So far, we have two prizes for the raffle. There will be a set of pillows made by my daughter and a piece of jewelry so far.

Other than that, we are finally resting. Until next time.

Oh Boy, The Dentist!

Good morning, everyone. Hope you are doing better than me this morning. Yep, you've got it. I went to the dentist at the Women's Hospital yesterday morning. Oh. my. gosh! If I would have known what was to come, I don't know what I would have done instead of getting my teeth pulled at four different intervals of two weeks apart. Yesterday, we  (my mom and daughter, Ashleigh, came with me) got up to the hospital about an hour earlier than my appointment time which was for 10:30 a.m. I am telling all of you about this just in case, okay? So bear with me please. I got back to the dental clinic and they took me in around 10:15 a.m. to my little individual cubical. There are several of these rooms where several patients can be worked on at the same time by different doctors. How many there are of these doctors, I don't know. What Path Has God Led You?

Good morning, everyone. I hope that everyone is doing great on this warm Sunday morning. I am doing okay myself as of right now. My question for you this morning is this. How do we know if we are on the path that God has led us? As of right now, I am still not certain what path I am on with God. God has led me to being able to understand a little bit about who I am as a whole. When I was younger, I never knew what these words would mean to me as an adult. I do know that I am a great communicator with words on paper more so than in public. But, I have gotten to where I can communicate a little bit better in public, though. You see, it wasn't until I was in high school when I started my "writing career". I have written over 45 poems and have four to five unfinished stories since then.
