2 Years & A Vacation

Good morning, everyone. I sincerely hope that you are having a great day so far. I know that I am.

I cannot believe that it has been two years since I started this blog. Wow!! Who would have thought I would last this long? I have always enjoyed writing, but I always thought that my writing would be my many stories that I need to finish. I have about four or five. Only one is about finished, though.

I have been up and about since about 7:00 am. I have already read my Sunday school lesson and have done a little bit of stretching.

My plans include going to church and then coming back home and fixing lunch with my family and watching the Carolina Panthers game against the New Orleans Saints. As you all know, I love football. (Especially if it's my favorite team, the Carolina Panthers.) The Panthers are going to beat the Saints. I feel it in my bones.

Well, everyone, I finally got to go on a small vacation this past weekend. My family took my daughter, Ashleigh, and I to Myrtle Beach and we really enjoyed it. We stayed at a very nice hotel, The Horizon at 77th. Thank you, dear family, for my much needed break. I love you all.

A Few Good Nits & Picks

Good morning, everyone. Hope you have been having a great weekend getting ready to lead into Holy Week. Luckily for me, I have been having a decent weekend with just a few nits and picks. I have finally found a new therapist after not having one for well over a year now. I say this because I cannot stay on the Kidney Transplant list without seeing a therapist on a regular basis. My last therapist was a wonderful man. His name was Brian Simpson. The doctor was a reference from my first therapist, also a wonderful doctor (William Varley). You see, I have to talk to a therapist and each one that I have had has left in one way or another. Dr. Varley semi-retired to Florida. Dr. Simpson was a wonderful man who died while working in his yard. A tree fell on him. And now, I have started seeing a very sweet and caring young woman. This will be a first for me. Oh Boy, The Dentist!

Good morning, everyone. Hope you are doing better than me this morning. Yep, you've got it. I went to the dentist at the Women's Hospital yesterday morning. Oh. my. gosh! If I would have known what was to come, I don't know what I would have done instead of getting my teeth pulled at four different intervals of two weeks apart. Yesterday, we  (my mom and daughter, Ashleigh, came with me) got up to the hospital about an hour earlier than my appointment time which was for 10:30 a.m. I am telling all of you about this just in case, okay? So bear with me please. I got back to the dental clinic and they took me in around 10:15 a.m. to my little individual cubical. There are several of these rooms where several patients can be worked on at the same time by different doctors. How many there are of these doctors, I don't know.
