College Break & a Birthday

Good evening, everyone. I hope you have had a great weekend so far. I have had a good weekend myself. 

 My youngest daughter came home from college for her fall break. It just so happened to be the same weekend as my birthday. Yes, today is my birthday and I spent it taking my daughter back to her friend's house so that they could take her back to the train station and then the rest of the day with my other daughter at the Cotton Ginning Days in Dallas.  We finally got home about 6:00 or so. 

 Right now, I am not doing anything but sitting back in my recliner and trying to rest. All in all, it was a good day for me. Spending time with my daughters whether they are together or by themselves is a great way to pass the time. Of course, it doesn't hurt when you have the best daughters ever.

 I love you, girls.

 Take this with you as you go through the day. No matter  where you are, you have the means to make the most out of time with loved ones.

A Few Good Nits & Picks

Good morning, everyone. Hope you have been having a great weekend getting ready to lead into Holy Week. Luckily for me, I have been having a decent weekend with just a few nits and picks. I have finally found a new therapist after not having one for well over a year now. I say this because I cannot stay on the Kidney Transplant list without seeing a therapist on a regular basis. My last therapist was a wonderful man. His name was Brian Simpson. The doctor was a reference from my first therapist, also a wonderful doctor (William Varley). You see, I have to talk to a therapist and each one that I have had has left in one way or another. Dr. Varley semi-retired to Florida. Dr. Simpson was a wonderful man who died while working in his yard. A tree fell on him. And now, I have started seeing a very sweet and caring young woman. This will be a first for me. Oh Boy, The Dentist!

Good morning, everyone. Hope you are doing better than me this morning. Yep, you've got it. I went to the dentist at the Women's Hospital yesterday morning. Oh. my. gosh! If I would have known what was to come, I don't know what I would have done instead of getting my teeth pulled at four different intervals of two weeks apart. Yesterday, we  (my mom and daughter, Ashleigh, came with me) got up to the hospital about an hour earlier than my appointment time which was for 10:30 a.m. I am telling all of you about this just in case, okay? So bear with me please. I got back to the dental clinic and they took me in around 10:15 a.m. to my little individual cubical. There are several of these rooms where several patients can be worked on at the same time by different doctors. How many there are of these doctors, I don't know.
