No Dentist Today, But Yes, There is Snow

Well, the two weeks are up and I was supposed to go to the UNC Women's Hospital this morning. We had to call the hospital two days ago and let them know that we would have to reschedule due to bad weather. The rescheduled appointment has been rescheduled for April 30, more than a month after my last appointment in March (26th).

This is going to drive me crazy if I have to wait that long for the last of my teeth to get pulled. All in all, I guess I can't complain since I will be getting new teeth out of this.

On the other hand, the same thing as two weeks ago has happened. It has been snowing for the most part of the day here in Lowell, NC. It is so beautiful coming down. But when it comes to getting out in it, that is a different story. I drove in it today coming home from work, and I  had to go really slow to make sure that I didn't have an accident.

Yesterday, I had dialysis and had a decent day. I have gotten to where I try to communicate with those around me on a regular basis. Can you say the same for yourself though? I hope you know that in order for you to make friends, you need to try to communicate with others on a regular basis. Believe me when I say that talking to others or trying to talk will make a huge difference in your life.

Well, all in all, it has been a beautiful day of snow and spending time with my oldest daughter, Ashleigh, after getting home from work.

A Few Good Nits & Picks

Good morning, everyone. Hope you have been having a great weekend getting ready to lead into Holy Week. Luckily for me, I have been having a decent weekend with just a few nits and picks. I have finally found a new therapist after not having one for well over a year now. I say this because I cannot stay on the Kidney Transplant list without seeing a therapist on a regular basis. My last therapist was a wonderful man. His name was Brian Simpson. The doctor was a reference from my first therapist, also a wonderful doctor (William Varley). You see, I have to talk to a therapist and each one that I have had has left in one way or another. Dr. Varley semi-retired to Florida. Dr. Simpson was a wonderful man who died while working in his yard. A tree fell on him. And now, I have started seeing a very sweet and caring young woman. This will be a first for me. Oh Boy, The Dentist!

Good morning, everyone. Hope you are doing better than me this morning. Yep, you've got it. I went to the dentist at the Women's Hospital yesterday morning. Oh. my. gosh! If I would have known what was to come, I don't know what I would have done instead of getting my teeth pulled at four different intervals of two weeks apart. Yesterday, we  (my mom and daughter, Ashleigh, came with me) got up to the hospital about an hour earlier than my appointment time which was for 10:30 a.m. I am telling all of you about this just in case, okay? So bear with me please. I got back to the dental clinic and they took me in around 10:15 a.m. to my little individual cubical. There are several of these rooms where several patients can be worked on at the same time by different doctors. How many there are of these doctors, I don't know.
